Cultivate Mental Wellness is an inclusive wellness practice for perfectionists.

Perfectionism invades all areas of your life by driving you to avoid failure. It tells you that you must avoid not being good enough. We get it, your perfectionism tells you that it’s not enough to be a wonderful person - you must be a perfectly wonderful person.

No matter how your perfectionism shows up - an eating disorder, body image distress, anxiety, or OCD - we can help you.

Eating Disorders & Body Image

Our clients are tired of living in a diet-centric world where bodies are objectified, policed, and shamed. Cultivate treats the whole person. We are Health-at-Every-Size affirming, which is a holistic definition of health that means that we do not put moral value onto your body size and we know you deserve complete and ethical care. No matter what. We can help you define what health means for you and set tangible milestones to help you find holistic health. We use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindful Compassion to guide our clients to live without their eating disorder and without body image distress. We’re passionate about helping people learn to find food and body freedom.

Anxiety & OCD

“Did that make me sound stupid?” “I probably shouldn’t go out with them.” “I don’t think they like me anyway.” “Why did I laugh like that?” “What is wrong with me?” “I look like a fool.” Sound familiar? Anxiety, perfectionism and OCD like to jump into our thoughts creating mental turmoil and tell us all kinds of terrible things about ourselves. While we cannot control our thoughts, what we know at Cultivate is that we can control how we respond to our thoughts. We use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you shift the way you respond and interact with your thoughts and find mental freedom from anxiety and OCD.
